In a new move, Iran Open Data seek to collect, in addition to government statistics, unofficial statistics on the issues of daily life that most people, not government agencies, deal with and publish them after analysis. Researchers, students, journalists and civic activists can use these economic and social data to take new steps towards greater transparency in the state of society. So far, 1,484 people have participated in this data-call. Iran Open Data has been able to estimate the cost of a corona diagnosis test based on the responses received, and ultimately to examine the government's performance in the meantime.
